What is it with toddlers and evening crazies!
It's the cutest thing really, and from what I hear, a very much toddler-like thing to do: once dinner is over and they are bathed and pyjama-ed, suddenly it's pandemonium!
Running, jumping, singing, screaming like a little tribe of humfa-lumfas.
I love it.
For ten full minutes, I love it more than anything.
But come on babies, evening is when my-man-your-father and I cuddle up on the couch with a glass of wine and ...go over the bills. Just kidding, scratch that, rewind : so cuddle, couch, glass of wine and ...watch an episode of Game of Thrones while eating all kinds of stuff you're not allowed to. Or somethin'.
So yeah, an evening promenade helps get some of the gabba gabba out.
It's a nice pre-bed routine. No fuss, just love and a nice peaceful feeling.
Just us taking time for us, as a family.
And it smells nice. Evening smells are always sweeter, have you noticed? It feels good.
We round up the evening with a nice cup of Vedic Golden Milk.
Healthy and absolutely delicious. We're all addicted in this house.
(nice recipe here.)
G'night little boogers. We love you.
